The Cafetería El Ate is one of the most emblematic and traditional cafeterias in the Royal Site of San Lorenzo de El Escorial.
Its location is privileged, as it is in one of the most important streets of the historic centre, it has a large terrace and spacious rooms with views of the Monastery of El Escorial.
This cafeteria is a highly recommended place to taste typical tapas and raciones, it is also very famous for its traditional chocolate with churros or picatostes, a tradition for which it has been recognised for more than 45 years.
