Tour Description

“San Lorenzo de El Escorial and the settings of the series by Blecker and Cano, by Teresa Cardona” is a cultural proposal that invites you to discover the municipality through literature.

The initiative will allow visitors to tour some of the most emblematic locations that appear in the four novels of the writer's mystery series, published by Editorial Siruela, all of which are set in San Lorenzo de El Escorial: “Los dos lados”, “Un bien relativo”, “La carne del cisne” and “A la vista de todos”.

Throughout the itinerary, attendees will be able to experience first-hand the settings that bring to life the plots featuring the characters Blecker and Cano, who are now inseparable from the streets of the Royal Site and its daily life, while they solve the crimes.

El Plantel is one of the most unique historical neighbourhoods in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. Emerging at the beginning of the 20th century on former lands linked to Philip II, it preserves bourgeois villas, gardens and outstanding examples of Neo-Mudéjar architecture.
