El Mirador de los Alerces is one of the most unique corners of Monte Abantos. In this spot, a small grove of beeches and larches is preserved, species that are unusual in the Community of Madrid and were introduced experimentally by the School of Forest Engineers during forest repopulation works.

The environment allows you to discover the botanical diversity of Abantos and enjoy a peaceful landscape among pine forests, mountain vegetation and views of the natural surroundings of San Lorenzo de El Escorial.
